Sometimes we can find the most amazing things if we open our eyes. Truly honestly open them. Stop rushing about, take a moment look around, look in your rear view mirror, figuratively and literally. Which is exactly how I saw this, by looking in my rear view mirror as I was heading home from an event. I spend most of my time composing and recomposing images in my mind as I see them. I knew there was something to photograph when I noticed this amazing light as I drove along a winding road by the river’s edge. Then as I was preparing to pull into a church yard I looked in my rear view… And the crazy busy day melted away.
