In my post about our plans for an English garden I mentioned the rose bush we bought too late to plant this fall is over wintering in my studio. I also mentioned it had a bud about to bloom. And bloom it did! It was a few days in opening fully and it’s soft aroma and colouring made me extremely joyful.
